Digestive Disease Week 2024 - Washington, D.C.

Research Leader Inês Trindade attended DDW2024 in Washington, D.C. between May 18-21. DDW is a premier event that brings together professionals in gastroenterology, hepatology, GI endoscopy, gastrointestinal surgery and related fields, to discuss the latest advancements, research and clinical practices (for more information, please visit: https://ddw.org/).

Inês presented two posters: “Third Wave Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy for Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Results From the eLIFEwithIBD Randomized Controlled Trial” and “Implications of Shame for Patient Reported Outcomes in Functional Bowel Disorders”. The poster on the eLIFEwithIBD intervention was recognised as a Poster of Distinction. Congratulations, Inês and team!

Both studies will be submitted to peer-reviewed journals during this year.
