IBS Days 2024 - Bologna, Italy

Postdoctoral Research Associate Siri Jakobsson Støre and Research Leader Inês Trindade and attended the IBS Days 2024 in Bologna, Italy, between June 17-19! The annual gathering brought together researchers, healthcare professionals, and experts to discuss the latest advancements and future perspectives within the field of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). The conference comprised an array of topics, including epidemiology, the role of diet, microbiota, diagnostic modalities and therapeutic interventions. Siri, Inês, and other attendees had the opportunity to engage in collaborative discussions, networking, panel discussions, poster presentations, and more!

Among the poster presentations, Siri presented our ongoing iACTforDGBI project! Additionally, Inês presented a study from the Discoverie EU Project and a study from University of Gothenburg’s Swedish national project on Functional Bowel Disorders.

We hope that Inês, Siri and other colleagues had three great days in Bologna!
