Research Leader Inês Trindade attended the ACBS World Conference 2024 in Buenos Aires, Argentina between July 25-28, together with Mind team member Marcela Matos! The Association For Contextual Behavioral Science World Conference is an enriching event in the field of psychology and behavioral science – especially for those involved and/or interested in ACT, RFT, and related contextual behavioral therapies.

The conference included a variety of workshops, keynote speeches, poster presentations, and panel discussions – with the aim of deepening the understanding of contextual behavioral science and its application in diverse settings. Among the speakers, Steven C. Hayes, originator of ACT and RFT, gave an inspiring keynote presentation titled “Every Voice Matters: How a Modern Process-Based Approach is Helping us Expand Our Work Beyond Psychotherapy”.

Inês also had the opportunity to present the ongoing Mind trial in breast cancer, and the preliminary results of the eLIFEwithIBD trial! At last, we are eager to follow the results from the Mind trial – results that are pointing progressively towards the importance of intervention personalization.

We hope that Inês and colleagues had a pleasant and inspiring stay in Buenos Aires!
